What's Wonderfell All About?
2025.11.09
Sunday, November 09, 2025
Good morning, The Wonderfell Way.
Glad to be read by you again. O/
The Sun's just about to show.
Abe, the rescued hound dog, still in soft snoring dog dreams on the loveseat.
Hope all's well.
On with our show...
...
So what's Wonder Fell all about?
First, it's a journal kept everyday at sunrise.
What's remarkable about it?
It's a poet's journal.
Not a 'hey I wrote a couple verses with a broken heart, or look how well my words can woo you' poet; a real-life, like it's my job title, Poet, Poet's Journal.
If you thought poetry was just a hobby for hallmark cards, or maybe what rap artists do, Wonder Fell's a good place to find out what Poets for millennia have been lyrically sharing our souls about.
It's a conversation with you, for you.
During this time when AI begins to arrange the way we do business, it's imperative we remember the true power of language, what making and using words is all about.
Words are a place to place your dreams to make them real. They are the first step to reality. They're what make us human. We're not-so-hairy-monkeys without words.
Software mimics the ways of the mind. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but it takes at least a thousand words to make every picture.
Artists and programmers have to learn the right language to draw every intended line. Anything you've ever done required language to accomplish it.
Wonder Fell's AI images, with the 'Same Prompt' located at the end of posts, shows the different interpretations, and thus the limitations of AI.
Being human is about the expression of Life. We've been focused for so long on how to prolong our lives we forgot why we're making the effort.
Beauty, friendship, love, wonder and building wonderful things, and moments is what Life is all about.
Of course there's poetry on Wonder Fell, too. If that's your cup of tea or energy drink to help raise your spirit and feel connected to life, maybe you'll read some.
And there's Colore, an American Epic I've been working on for some time.
I've just begun releasing it in stages: at least a verse weekly on Fridays.
It begins with the story of a girl and her dog, but the themes are heavy.
If you wouldn't allow your children to watch the nightly news unsupervised, they shouldn't be reading Colore, or Wonder Fell for that matter.
Sometimes seeing the world through the eyes of a child teaches us so much we forgot. Take Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer for examples.
I know if Huck and Tom had the opportunity to meet a dragon with Hope they'd be all in.
Would you? If yes, you might check it out.
One of our greatest minds said: "Imagination is more important than knowledge," then dropped the ball and went about spending a life focused on pure knowledge.
Colore is a tribute to the worldly transformative power of the Imagination.
Placing it second in importance is one of humanity's greatest failures.
The health of any nation is judged best by how it treats its artists, Artists of every endeavor. Be it a symphony, ballet, or a hip-hop concert what we value artistically shows us what we value... period.
There's more to life than sensationalism, America. When we put flash over substance we get bulldozers in The East Wing.
Substance comes from what the Imagination is for: Dreams and doing dreams. That means words and stories and paintings and a beautifully built White House with the hope of a people placed in each stone.
Wonder Fell is not for politics. Demolishing The White House is not a political act. It's a tragedy. We should lower our flags to half-mast to mourn the loss while we decide how to heal, at least how to stop the bleeding.
Sun's up now. Most of the leaves are end of Autumn amber and fall steady and slow.
Thank you again for reading, take care, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Collaborative Translations
2025.11.06
Thursday, November 06, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Full moon light through the window on the screen as I write.
How's your dream? O/
Hope all's well.
On with our show...
...
What about all these AI pics littered over Wonder Fell?
They create a more interesting space for the morning journal.
Artists of the world be at peace! AI can never draw a picture, paint a painting.
It can only show a record of what's been done.
AI will never make anything new, never show us what we might be, what we might see, only where we've been and what we recorded.
An AI image is closer to a sentence than a painting.
That is one point Wonder Fell makes with the "Same Prompts" left at the end of each post.
Programmers are translating code into vernacular.
What we see when we see an AI image is a group of programmer's translation of the description.
It's like reading a translation of a poem; it's at least a step removed.
If there's any intimacy to be gained, any relationship with an AI image, it's between the prompter, the program team and the viewer.
So when you view a picture on Wonder Fell what you see is a collaboration.
How the program teams of Google, Ms. Copilot, and Grok understand and translate my sentence.
Nothing more than that.
There is the human element in it.
AI imagery is a collaborative translation.
Not Art.
AI is what worked and not necessarily what works.
Advice from a history book is AI's legacy.
Reliable, helpful, only ever as useful as someone else's memory is to your life.
It's memory devoid of feeling, though.
We're so much more than rational creatures.
We're dreamers doing our best to share this space called Life.
Rationalism, empiricism, computation help us share the space.
Enthusiasm, wonder, beauty, joy, love, and awe make living worth our heartbeats.
You can't find them in any image, AI or otherwise, until you recognize them in yourself.
O/
Take your reaction to my circle slash wave for proof wonder lives in you, as do beauty, joy and whatever in all creation love is.
Once a more active involvement with the readers of Wonder Fell (you ofc) is established and this Ghos+ business is in the past with AI's information, I'll offer the spaces where I place AI pictures to Artists to show some work.
No charge but a thank you.
The world needs what drives artists, musicians and writer's more than ever.
Three hundred and sixty five Wonderfell posts a year, a new artist per post...
Let's start a Renaissance.
Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

In Your Imagination
2025.10.08
Wednesday, October 08, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Shine on Harvest Moon.
Still a few hours till dawn.
Good to be read by you again.
Hope all's well.
Here we go.
On with our show...
...
"It's just some dude's journal with AI pics."
-New to Wonder Fell Reader
"There's Hope in here."
-Longtime Wonder Fell Fan
First read or hundredth, glad you're here.
I write the sunrise everyday with the sunrise.
"Why persist at it, Wynn? It's a lot of work."
-Concerned Reader
It comes down to language, someone's got to stand up for words.
We've grown accustomed to the Internet.
We dismiss each others words to readily.
They're not just blips and blinks of binary light on swipeable screens.
Every word is a representative of a shared experience.
Every word has its meaning, has a spirit in which it was made.
It's a Ghos+ Point.
What happens as you read in your mind and body is what separates you from an AI machine.
As our technology grows we're going to question more and more what it means to be human.
The answer is right here. O/
You are whatever makes sense of these words and symbols.
A puppy chasing a tennis ball under a full moon.
Did you picture it?
How'd you do that?
Where did you see it?
In your Imagination?
Where and what exactly is that?
A computer doesn't know, but it is where the first computer came from: The Dream of a Computer.
They're not deep thoughts; they're mandatory.
Your Imagination is what makes you, You.
What passes for intelligence these days is really just a measure of how well we remember.
So much of what we memorized future generations won't need to. It's what AI is for.
How well you create a prompt for an AI machine will be the new measure of worldly success soon enough.
So, my fellow Artists and Writers, the world is soon ours.
A place where the ability to utilize Imagination determines success... is where humanity is headed.
It's about time.
How well we dream, communicate those dreams, and care for each other are soon to be the measures of our success.
Classrooms will focus more on Proper Prompt Formations than History Books.
...
Just some morning thoughts on our future while the sunrises.
Hope your day goes well.
Feed your moments your best dreams of that moment and watch your life change for the better.
Watch your language, use your words to serve your dreams, that's what they're there for, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

An Artist Economy
2025.09.28
Sunday, September 28, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
At it again. O/
Welcome back.
Just some thoughts on dreams and spirit and purpose and beauty.
Some comparative AI pics for embellishments.
And to help the programs watch their language.
A couple weeks ago I began using a few different AI models to create the images. Always the same prompt, sometimes vastly different images.
It's a case of AI mirroring humanity. Every sentence I write is translated and understood in a new way based on the reader.
On You.
Hello again, btw.
Visual Artists, Painters, Animators, you are more necessary than ever.
Please don't view AI image creation as a threat to your livelihood. It's just the opposite.
This goes for all Artists in every field.
AI can't make an image like Picasso if Pablo didn't first.
AI can't write a symphony like Mozart if Amadeus didn't first.
AI can't write a poem like Wynn if I didn't write one For You.
At some point, (and it's a great Sci-Fi Thriller plot idea) AI is going to be starving for Artists, for new information, new dreams and ways.
We're a generation or two away from an Artist Economy.
Best get your kids into the Arts now for reasons of job security.
Now's the time to start bolstering Arts in our Country for the sake of our successful future, culturally and economic.
Computation and Memorization give way to Imagination in terms of practical Life Skill learning.
That's the coming shift in human evolution. Our schools require a reassessment.
How to formulate a better prompt for Claude or Grok, Ms. Copilot or Gemini is a better use of classroom time than memorizing when The Battle of Waterloo took place.
...
Looking ahead waiting for the sunrise...
Dawn.
Spent sometime outside with Abe and a moth the size of a mouse near a light fixture on the house.
Moths like so many people always head for the brightest light, the biggest spectacle.
Like Cancel Culture comments, the porch light flashes on and moths and people flock to the sight.
Eventually the Sun also rises and the truth also shows.
There's veracity in sunshine, honesty in each ray.
Moths and misguided humanity, the light that feeds the foliage of every oak and evergreen feeds what's just and true.
Pixel light isn't enough to sustain life itself.
We all require sunshine.
All truths, eventually, come to light.
Look to the sky today, say a quiet thank you, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Screen Your Screens
2025.09.22
Monday, September 22, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
How's the day? O/
Daydreams and what it seems.
AI, dreams, Art, a hound dog story or two, you, you, you... themes for a morning journal.
Sometimes Love shows up, sometimes Beauty.
Things we don't talk enough about.
Things we don't advertise we talk about all the time, at least.
On with our show...
...
I wonder how AI would analyze a dream.
How do the images etched in the human unconscious speak to data servers?
Deep end of the thought pool morning on the way.
Plunge into Jung, Palanatir!
What can be seen there?
Data mine the cloud of human thought called The Unconscious.
Emerson called it, "The Oversoul."
Modern Psychiatry calls it, "The Unconscious."
Internet lingo calls it, "A Cloud."
Consciousness is just what we choose to do with what we find there.
All the images and stories and science and what they inspire and lead humanity to do when placed on their screens...
It's a great plot for a Science Fiction Thriller:
To data mine the images that get the most clicks, the words and phrases that pay the most, to place what you want heard in the company of those images and words.
Conspiracy theory or technological crowd control?
...
"Where's the bright, cheery, Wonder Fell Sunshine, Wynn?"
- Favorite Reader
It just showed.
My phone screen notification sent me reeling in thoughts when I woke.
We're not angry at each other America. We're angry at images and words people and corporations are paid trillions of dollars to make sure we see and hear.
Talk with each other about what's really happening in your day to day life. Share it. Build on what's best about us to build what's best for us.
Your friends, you family, your freedom to have a dream of a wonderful life and have a secure place to build it, are what having a Country at all is suppose to afford.
If The News isn't about what's happening in your life, if it doesn't match your day to day reality, then it is not News: It's something else.
There's a whole lot of something else on the air waves and Internet these days.
"What does someone stand to gain from me reading, watching, or listening to this?"
- Reader with The Right Question for a Hopeful Humanity
If the answer isn't 'to perform the public service of enlightening people on what's occurring in the world to help further the human race,' then it's not News.
Please change the channel, or call it entertainment.
You deserve better than to be manipulated so a few can profit financially.
Take care, consider your sources, screen your screens, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Swimming in Sunlight
2025.09.20
Saturday, September 20, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Sunlight. O/
Made it.
Welcome back.
Glad you're here.
Hope all's well.
Let's see what the sunrise has to say.
On with our show...
...
We're translators of sunlight, transmission stations for nations of stardust creations.
What if we consider light matter?
What if light is something like water?
We swim in it.
Most space is absent sunlight. So it's only a necessity for Earth, for us.
Like fish in water, the World lives in an ocean of sunlight.
...
New points of view for you.
Some ideas I jot down every morning with the sunrise.
Hope they're of use.
At least help shake that sense of souring sameness that has you forgetting you're alive... which means you have a chance: to laugh, to love, to make something wonderful and lasting.
Do you like to make sentences?
You've probably never thought much about it.
It's a survival skill in the world.
Yesterday I said every sentence is a container for a dream called a thought.
Deep thoughts, but not.
As deep as saying, "Water is wet."
We just don't consider it.
Dreaming makes materials to keep life going.
AI without a prompt is less useful than a rock.
You without thoughts are slightly more useful than a rock.
What makes a thought?
Dreams... the Imagination.
Perhaps that's what sleep is for: to restock our dreams.
Some dreams are so new they require brave souls to bring them to Life.
We call these brave few Artists.
Singers of sounds unsung!
Thank you for sharing. Your dedication to bring your vision to life expands what each story of Life can be about.
Think of everything Da Vinci or Shakespeare made possible for you to add to your story, to your world view; then thank an Artist for expanding your materials to help you lead a good life.
Take care, dream something new, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Dream Wrapped in a Sentence
2025.09.19
Friday, September 19, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Good to be read by you again. O/
How's your peace?
Not your Nation's, or even your friend's, but yours?
If you have the space and goodwill enough to be reading this, you have peace with yourself.
Share it.
A world where it's safe to read whatever we want, whenever we want, is a peaceful place to live.
Look at you, reading a poet's journal... isn't their anything on Netflix?
You're a certain kind of person. The world's missed you. You appreciate wonder, and Art; when you're awake for the sunrise you consider it, if even for a moment, you do consider it.
The world's missed wonder like yours.
That some people go through life without a sense of awe, or an understanding of the possibility of magic, breaks my heart.
We're so sure of our Scientific selves; the World is flat.
Dreams and what dreaming is for is a Flat Earth scenario.
So, Dreamers, I'm glad you're here.
The Age of AI approaches. We'll have to redefine what it means to be human.
Not a Science-Fiction stretch of imagination, or a wild poet's whim, a concern for our future.
When our machines are better at doing what we say life is for now, what will be our purpose and point?
To make our dreams live.
To bring our dreams to Life.
The way it's always been.
An AI prompt is a dream wrapped up in a sentence you feed software.
So I urge you to take time alone and work on your dreams. You can only ever be as good as they are.
We feed ourselves prompts from our dreams. We call them thoughts. Your brain and body is your software and your hardware.
Get well with your dream of you, take care, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

It's Foresight
2025.08.29
Friday, August 29, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Cloudy grey sunshine day.
Welcome to the show. O/
Words don't write themselves.
So...
Here we go.
On with our show...
...
Abe and an African Violet to my left.
The rescued Texas hound and the rescued flower.
She's in bloom; he's asleep.
It only takes a little attention, a little compassion to see a dog or a flower grow.
How are your surroundings? What pictures adorn your walls?
So much talk on the power of dreams on the site, on how that's connected to spirit stuff, Ghost Stuff.
I stay as practical as I can about it.
I'm looking ahead for us.
Not too long from now our machines, with the advent of AI, are going to make us feel obsolete.
A robot, the ones we build, are building, are simply better at doing most of what we say defines being a human being.
This is not outlandish thinking.
It's foresight.
We're dreamers who need to eat and sleep and have a safe place to do both.
Once our AI machines take care of providing food and shelter, what are we going to do?
What will be our scientific function when science computes itself?
What is Life really about?
Dreams and how we treat each other.
Life is a process of growing dreams.
...
There is suffering in the world, but we can, and so should, use our technology to end it.
People are not inherently greedy.
We're taught greed pays, greed feeds, greed pays the bills.
Those lessons are why the News looks the way it does.
We falsely value greed.
But what about a world where AI driven machines make homes and control agriculture?
It's not that far away.
What happens when our basic needs are taken care of by the push of a button?
It's called thinking about the future.
Dreams and how we treat each other.
Making dreams real to share with each other... the true purpose and focal point for a healthy humanity.
Take care, dream great dreams, work quietly persistently to make them real, and make wonderful this wonderful day.
