You See You

When we discover how The World works, we discover how we work.

Thursday, February 26, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Nice day. Glad you're here.

How's your World view? Tried and true? Green, Brown, and Blue?

We do our best to live in this place, get our acts together, call it The Human Race. But it's really just a bunch of stories to help us survive the weather.

When we discover how The World works, we discover how we work.

That's where to find the compassion in Science.

Life is a mirror; consider the reflection.

The World mirrors back You in everything you sense.

Even every scientific theory reads differently to every pair of eyes.

What do you see when you see The World?

I know.

You see You.

So I write and witness the sunrise. Everyday something so reliable is something so Beautiful.

Though our rulers can't measure why... there's always hope in our celestial star.

If your life seems to lack some luster, if you're feeling down-trodden or off, set your alarm clock a little early for a couple of days and watch the first rays of dawn.

The World is your mirror remember and there in the sky is a shining star making everything possible and making it Beautiful.

Everyday.

Take care, thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day.

The Sun Knows

Mother Nature powers up her cellphone everyday and calls it dawn.

Sunday, February 15, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

There's always something new.

Every sunrise shows a sequence of light different from the day before.

Thinking on what's been gained waking up to record each dawn.

For almost two years what the sunrise brings, the wonder of each, is recorded here.

With all the flash and volume of The World as bright and loud as it's been, I thought the ways and rhythms of how a poet views life could be medicinal.

A guy caught in the act of doing what he loves every morning, first thing, under the spectacle called sunrise, ought to be educational to everyone.

At the very least, a reminder of The Greatest Light Show on Earth, The Illumination that makes The World possible: The Sunrise.

Mother Nature powers up her cellphone everyday and calls it dawn.

We wake and stretch into this Celestial Software called A Day.

If you feel your life lacks inspiration and wonder, there's an easy fix.

Get up, sit alone, and watch The Sunrise.

As color and warmth return to all things remember it doesn't have to be this way. Wonder why it is, why it keeps going, what opportunities it allows for you.

All of humanity's greatest inventions mirror Mother Nature and the ways of The Universe.

A rock rolls... we make a wheel.

So what's up with the picture world of colors on your phone screen?

The Sun knows.

A rock rolls to make a wheel possible.
The Sun shines to make The Internet,
To light up every screen.

Day and Night make the original binary light.

A Big Bang? More like pressing the power button on.

Thanks for sharing another sunrise with me, take care, and make a wonderful day.

The Dream of a Flower

It's how we know The World is alive.

Saturday, February 14, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Glad you're back. O/

Thanks for reading.

On with our show...

...

Another Wow morning, so much to write.

Pick a topic and go, Poet.

There's Love; the holiday matches.

It starts with a dream. When dreams meet to further each dream by working together... that's Love.

The experience is best displayed through romantic partners, but can be easily seen in other relationships too.

It's how we know The World is alive.

Every gardener knows the best way to care for each plant and bloom is to devote their attention to helping every seed grow.

Every seed in every garden wants to grow, every gardener wants them to as well.

When we dedicate our time to helping the dream of a flower to bloom... that's an act of Love.

Any act that helps another living thing fulfill its dream of a good life is Love in action.

Every seed dreams its flower; every gardener too.
Lovers in love share the best dreams of Life for each other.

And help those dreams grow.

What about your work? Do you love it?

What's the goal of all your labor?

What does a job well done look like completed?

Help your work reach its aim... that's an act of Love.

And a Life well-lived.

Take care, help something (yourself perhaps) fulfill its dream of a good life, call it Love, and make a wonderful day.

People Who Enjoy Quiet Rooms

If everyone in the World could easily sit quietly in a room alone everyday for thirty minutes, almost every tragedy of humanity would subside.

Tuesday, February 10, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

The Sun shows about a minute earlier everyday until the solstice in June.

How did we forget?

Fire and electric lights... is the answer.

Undertaking this Wonder Fell project has taught many things, some practical, others metaphysical, the thoughts we think at daybreak.

At least poets do. O/

Like: If the Sun isn't up and it's past 6 AM in the Northeast, it's Winter.

Real quality of life details we so rarely consider. Every plant cares when the Sun rises, each animal too.

Fire and electric lights got us out of sync with the World.

They're a help in so many ways... sure.

But we have to use our technology to compliment rather than deny Nature... to encourage and direct her.

It's gratitude and taking care of our house.

And ourselves.

Our bodies are made of the Earth. The smart thing to do is to recognize how the World works best and mirror it to care for our bodies.

When we push against Life, life pushes back.

...

The most interesting thing regarding showing up at the same time everyday to keep a 'what's on your mind' journal is the eclectic nature of the entries.

My life is a writer's life: dependable comfortable peace and quiet is obligatory.

And well earned.

Artists must be soft in their lives to be loud through their work.

In a culture that's put sensationalism and a go-get-it get-er-done attitude on a pedestal, the ways of successful writers and artists don't easily add up to so many.

The space required to do our work is a quiet room. People who enjoy quiet rooms are labeled depressed, or so many other things, these days.

If everyone in the World could easily sit quietly in a room alone everyday for thirty minutes, almost every tragedy of humanity would subside.

Readers and Artists know this truth.

There's more to life than fireworks and faster.

There's the beautiful dream called yourself.

And it is Beautiful.

Have you checked in with yourself long enough to recognize it?

Life isn't an arbitrary duty; it's an opportunity to make something wonderful.

Take care and make something wonderful.

Trees: Poetically and Scientifically

The sky is an electric blue wonder machine painting matter into the images we see.

Tuesday, February 03, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

With a waning gibbous moon's light shining up the snow-topped earth at dawn, Hello. O/

The sky is an electric blue wonder machine painting matter into the images we see.

We group our understanding of diets into two classes herbivores and carnivores, but trees eat light.

So sunshine is comestible.

When a person tells you they're on a light diet, they're not eating much.

When an oak tree tells you they're eating light, they're being literal.

Poetically and Scientifically (it's great when they match Beautifully) trees turn light into the air we breathe.

Maybe hugging one isn't such a bad idea after all. At least send a word of thanks now and then.

There is a correlation between the amount of stress people feel and the amount of trees in their surrounding ecosystem.

People in big cities (fewer trees) = higher levels of stress per capita.

When you live out in the country (more trees) it's easier to breathe (less stress).

You see, Life wants to further Life, and so it's always working to get you what you need to keep going.

The farther away the trees are the harder the Earth has to work to get it to you.

This is one of those obvious things that help so much that we lost sight of.

A great way to improve the quality of life in every major city is to plant some trees.

It's easier to take a deep breath and relax when the air production company is only a hug or a thank you away.

Vertical gardens are a great idea to increase a city's quality of Life.

Skyscrapers acting like trees near Broadway are cast for the right part.

A plant in your office or home makes everyone in it breathe easier.

Simple solutions we rarely consider.

Trees, flowers... plant a plant indoors, or out, and your days go better.

Poetically and Scientifically.

This morning the trees grabbed my attention; they so often do.

Beautiful, reliable, necessary; that's a tree. They waste nothing and give everything.

Turning light into air sounds like an invention from a Science-Fiction story, but it's just what trees and flowers do.

Basic Science under the lens of Poetry.

As always thank you for reading, take care, recognize trees and flowers, breathe easier, and make wonderful our wonderful day.

The Stories You Tell Yourself

What to wear today?

Monday, January 12, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

What an interesting place, our World... this Life.

Remove human drama for a moment and consider what we have to witness.

There's The Sun.
Different angles and intervals of light rule the days.
The oceans wave to churn.
Air picks up its pace, or slows, in a great dance called wind.
Water is a fashion show model always changing outfits to suit the scene.

Ice, snow, steam, and rain; mist, hail, and slush... water cycles a perpetual strut, the sky for its catwalk, the clouds for backstage dressing rooms.

What to wear today?

Then there's the land with its conditions. Certain seeds only grow in certain soil.

Mother Nature dresses differently for different temperatures.

Arctic snowmen have nothing to wear in The Amazon.

Everything grows here as a function of time. Even rocks erode and change shape. Some stories call it impermanence, but it's just what time is for.

Life is a circle going somewhere; Time spins the wheel.

Where we're going depends on the stories you tell yourself.

There's too much wonder, too much order, too much beauty and the possibility for love, for Life to be arbitrary.

Why do stories work? The answer is not plot points, three act structure, or The Hero's Cycle.

Those are maps for methods. Why the same story makes people of all shapes, sizes, and cultures laugh and cry at the same moments is evidence there's more to Life than microscopes can measure.

Perhaps Science stays away from the question of why for reasons of foresight. Story and Art already have the question of why well under control.

Wonder Fell addresses the power of story often; it's the gateway to faith.

There's no preaching here. We all must find our own way. Which means finding the stories that best help us understand and experience all Life has to offer.

Speaking of stories, Colore is about to take-off into more fantastical fun.

I'm glad to be able to share some stories with you. I hope (and Hope does, too) you enjoy them.

As always, thank you for reading, take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

We Celebrate the Light

2025.12.25

Thursday, December 25, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Happy Holiday. O/

We celebrate the light.

Every culture and creed says it different, but every person come the end of the year celebrates the return of daylight in our lives.

It's only fitting, this ode of sorts to the sunrise, points out the solar reason for the season.

We use stories to best describe our full experience. There is the pun of 'The Sun' for the reason in so many people's storied reasons for the season.

Whichever stories you believe, I wish you a prosperous New Year as The Sun returns its duration of shine.

Life insists to persist. It requires more daylight to do so. Every year Mother Nature gets her Christmas wish: more sunlight to make more Life.

Good news for us. A promise of a new year, another opportunity to shine.

So we share gifts to resemble The Sun's gift to The World. "Life matters," The Sun says, "Keep it going, Mother Nature."

Your life, your well-being, your friends, family and loved one's lives matter. We give each other gifts to help us all enjoy the fulfilled promise of sunshine.

As always, thank you for reading, enjoy the holiday and the sunshine, take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

What's Up With The Sun?

2025.12.23

Tuesday, December 23, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Longer days, more rays of light... Life is better fed.

Winter is a season with a reason to celebrate.

It's a question of light. The seasons and our celebrations base themselves on the quality of light at that time of the year.

What's up with The Sun? The answer determines our schedules.

During Autumn when the amount of light diminishes most, we celebrate all The Sun has made possible throughout the year.

We call the holiday: Thanksgiving.

After, when Winter arrives with its solstice, the daylight begins to increase in duration again. And so, we celebrate the promise of Life returned from the celestial sphere.

Everything needs sunlight to grow. Life is a process of growth.

So I write with, and for, the sunrise every morning.

Poets historically neglected the sphere... busy romancing The Moon.

But The Moon is just a nightlight powered by The Sun, in charge of the tides.

How's your sunshine, dear reader?

Northern Hemishperers back on the rise, for sure.

Sun's up, clouds cover the sphere... snow on the way.

A shorter entry today. Over to The Epic.

As always, thank you for reading.

Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.
