Tech giants don't worry about profits. The publishing industry makes a healthy fortune even with the existence of libraries.
Access and updates... governments have to get involved in a big way.

Regardless if it's the intent of the corporations or not, a siege of our libraries is exactly what's underway.
Great ideas turned to realities turned to thoughts of financial gains.
When knowledge is for sale greed becomes the means of survival.

Greed is not sustainable; the Country's headed for a collapse.
Time for government action, but even they're infected.
The answer is in treating Artificial Intelligence like an always updating encyclopedia of documented thought. Then, shelve it in libraries with the other encyclopedias.
It's imperative we do. Attempting to sell knowledge, to make it a marketable commodity, insults the whole human race.
There's no such thing as finished information.
So long as a few companies control access to data streams there's a chokehold on evolution.
Nothing can progress.
