Something Beautiful. What's It For?

Good morning, Twfw. O/

Something Beautiful. What's it for?

The answers are as varied as the witnesses.

Emerson, another American Poet who turned to essays to help Our Country, said something like: Even if we travelled the whole world to find something beautiful, if we didn't have beauty within us, we'd never find it.

He was right about a great many things. That's one of them.

Only beautiful people have the opportunity to experience Beauty.

Consider music. Certain arrangements of notes sound a certain way when working together.

I believe Beauty is a harmonious relationship between the witness and what they observe.

The way some notes sound better, sound right, so some experiences in life bring a successful harmony with our witness of them.

The Beauty we have sounds a harmonious chord with the Beauty of the World.

Just like in music it takes three separate entities to make a true harmony. The witness, the viewer, and their relationship.

I say that every sunrise is beautiful. And, for me, it's true because I willingly recognize it.

Our star knows the dawn is beautiful, that life is worth color and sustenance, and so my recognition of its value brings a harmony between us.

Certain flowers know they're beautiful.

"Wynn, are you suggesting flowers are conscious?"
-Curious Reader Wondering if All Poets Really Are Crazy

They certainly know how to grow and do adapt their patterns to reach for The Sun.

To recognize a beautiful flower is to recognize a life well-lived.

"Good job, rose! Well-lived!" We tell every beautiful rose with our recognition.

There are all kinds of ways for a person to be beautiful.

There's the cosmetics and fashion way. Some paint and costume themselves in a beautiful ways.

There's a healthy physique. Those that care for their body in a beautiful way.

There's poetic language. Those that care for the beautiful ways of words exemplify this trait. O/

If we take the example of the rose as an indication of the way of Beauty works, then a recognition of something beautiful is a recognition of a job well-lived.

Our Sun lighting our galaxy painting and sustaining life with color and sound... good job star! Well-lived!

The Earth keeps cranking around, too. The planet is Beautiful. Good job Mother Earth! Well-lived!

Thanks for reading.
