Good morning, Twfw. O/

Peace. A sleepy dog, a soft sunrise. Commuter highway traffic is a loud courteous whisper.

The best medicine for the world right now is Art.

A great swell of human assertion is coming. We're more than what information is for.

Words do more than calculate; they shed tears, incite laughter, cause a smile.

Consider me a reminder of the power of living language. O/

Humbly, someone had to speak up.

A poet shadow-banned and systematically shunned for spreading words of peace, hope, and unity is the right voice to raise the volume on the point being missed.

Language is an artist's bag of brushes and paints and not a toolbox.

Science paints an expression of experience and not the experience itself. There's more to life than adding it up; there's the joy of adding it up.

I'd hand over my pen and paper to AI if every astronaut felt nothing travelling to the moon. The wonder, joy, and elation in every space shuttle headed to space is the reason for language: The ability to share living experience. Because we're able to share it we're able to build from it.

Words are building blocks crafted from dreams. And though that sentence sounds poetic, it is empirically true according to the best our language can do.

Take away the power of language and Science ceases to exist.

The superposition of language is undeniable because it takes language to deny it.

I believe our ability to make words is our greatest gift. I dedicate my life to it.

As our language grows so does humanity. This is the concern with Artificial Intelligence we should all have: Stagnation.

Letting AI run anything alone doesn't allow for improvement.

Sure a project can be as successful as some other on record, but it can never be better.

The best we could do is not the best we can do. <– The Real Hazard with AI.

When we think of AI as a starting point and not an end, we use it in a humane and therefore pro-evolutionary way.

Full disclosure: I'd much rather be writing about other things, but someone's got to mind the store.

My fellow tech-nerds, consider language the software of humanity to think of it right.

Like all software it needs continuous updates to run well. We update it by our means of sharing it.

When someone shares language in a new way the listener's or reader's software is then updated by the sharing.

Words of wonder to wonder about every morning here. Poets update language on purpose; it's our work.

As Artificial Intelligence enters our lives, our language begs for ways to welcome it in.

And so I work.

And so I write.

Thanks for reading.

Hope you received an update or two.
