Happy Ghos+ Day, USA

2025.10.31

Friday, October 31, 2025

Good morning, The Wonderfell Way.

Boo. O/

Happy Ghost Day, USA.

We celebrate and remember the dead.

Did you know that's what Halloween is about?

A day to honor the dead.

To remember, though they passed on, they live on in our stories.

It's what all the costuming is about.

We dress up in stories, bring the spirit of a tale back to life for awhile.

Halloween is a reminder of the power of story, of what the spirit wove into words in a certain way can achieve.

If the sentences are clear enough, the instructions honest, the dead can walk the streets again.

And what else would a recently deceased story do but ask you for some candy or offer to show you a trick?

Speaking of stories, I'll post the opening part of the first verse of Colore today.

The accounts of Artists, visual Artists, on social media have my attention as of late.

The posts I'm most drawn to show the Artist create a piece from the start.

That's the plan for Colore.

?

To show how to build An American Epic, while I build An American Epic.

There are thousands of books on how to write a story, but no live play by play.

Now I'm not filming the actual process of writing, yawn emoji, but Wonder Fell will show the thought process and state of mind of the author. O/

Hopefully the act of doing so will help you write your own story, whether that be fiction or the story of your life.

Make your life such a grand tale that on Halloweens hundreds of years from now people dress up as you to celebrate your story.

So just a basic opening scene today that describes The Hero in an interesting way, presents her personal dilemma, and gets the reader (hello, again) interested to read more.

I'll post that today.

Take care, remember you're a living story, and make wonderful this wonderful Boo. 👻🍬

In a New Light

2025.10.30

Thursday, October 30, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

How's the day? O/

An airplane overhead rumbles, very early riser's and still didn't go to sleeper's cars swoop by on the highway.

Autumn plays with color and light, paints each leaf before it falls.

The shadows of Autumn are her signatures.

The shapes cast on the cooling Earth change with each leaf fall.

The light refracted changes with every brushstroke of Autumn.

A breeze blows, shadows shiver and ripple, sunlight shakes silhouettes over cityscapes and landscapes.

Halloween tomorrow: Ghost Day, USA.

Hope all's well.

On with our show...

...

Colore.

Back to it.

There's a short opening scene ready for tomorrow.

There's the arrangement of parts; that's what today's business is for.

Web design allows for so much more flexibility in the way we share our stories.

Colore will show and expand those ways.

The process is organic, it reveals itself as the main story progresses.

Thoughts on it now liken it to an open world video game.

There are side quests called 'side stories' that add value to the main story line.

Just like in a video game, you don't need to complete the quest to finish the game, though reading the side stories adds value to the overall experience.

We might even say reading Wonder Fell is a very side story thing to do in regards to Colore.

If you're interested in how a story is made it most definitely is.

"Do you have the whole story written yet, Wynn?"
-Reader with a Wonderful Question

It's an adventure for the author, too.

That's how I view writing and telling a tale.

I have the main plot points mapped out. The characters and some scenes arranged. I wrote out the GPS directions with daydreams.

I know where we're going. Now we enjoy the trip together.

Tomorrow I plant the seed to start the story.

Though it begins with a girl and a dog, be aware Colore is not a story for children. It does address major concerns in our world today.

In a new light.

And yes, that does mean Dragon Fyre.

When a poet sits down to write a story the whole things turns Epic.

Wynn, the poet, sat down to write a story and the whole thing turned Epic.

Thanks for reading.

Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

An American Epic, Together

2025.10.29

Wednesday, October 29, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Welcome back to another installment of the sunrise with Mr. Wonder Fell Sunshine, +he Ghos+, Himself. O/

Glad you made it.

Halloween a couple days away, followed by Daylight Saving Time a couple after that.

DST was always only a matter of one morning with one more or less hour of sleep. Since Wonder Fell, though, I look forward to it.

Interesting and ironic to write the sunrise sat in the dark.

On with our show...

...

Colore, the Epic I work on, shows its start on Halloween.

How best to present it?

There's a main story. The start of which I'll post on Halloween.

The Internet, specifically web design, creates more opportunities, a new living area to present the written word in new ways that can better serve the story.

The best way to go about discovery of the best way to present the materials is to keep the process organic. Do what serves the story best when it best serves the story.

We'll start slow and build from there.

Having Wonder Fell creates an opportunity to serve other writers and would be writers.

This is my journal, so I'll talk about the process of creating Colore as the Epic grows.

Everyday.

Right now, the idea is to get the story established with the Opening Scene.

There's much to share. Priority of order and timing, web design, and how and when each piece best serves the story are my thoughts at this time.

One word at a time is how it goes.

So let's build an American Epic together.

The main story starts on Halloween. I'll add to it weekly.

Other supporting materials, side quests if you will, I'll place at appropriate times to best serve the main story.

At some point, once the storyline progresses, I'll ask visual artists to add some illustrations.

There's no hocus pocus about writing a story; it's work. I'll map out the process of writing Colore in Wonder Fell.

My hope is that it's a help to other writers and artists going through the creative process.

The world needs Art, Literature, and Music right now; perhaps more than ever.

AI doesn't rule the world; enthusiasm and inspiration do.

That means a love of work.

If Wonder Fell helps you love your work even a little more, I'll consider it a win.

And a pun.

Take care, make something new, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

This Ghostly Manner

2025.10.27

Monday, October 27, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

How's the day? O/

Time to write the morning.

Hope all's well with you.

On with our show...

...

Dark. Daylight Saving Time, this year, is a welcomed event.

Sat here in the pre-dawn dark with a candle, a hound-dog, a cup of tea not coffee, and some cereal, waiting for the light.

Anticipation is bringing me down and the sun up.

Another so much to say to you morning.

The more I write Wonder Fell the clearer its audience becomes.

You're Artists or people intrigued by the creative process.

My people. Good morning. O/

Life, though, is a creative process.

Have a dream and make it real. What we all do all day.

Philosophy this morning is for the birds. I'll let them know as soon as they arrive.

So here you are spinning around a supernova on a sphere spinning itself through a vacuum called Space staring at a glowing cube with flashing lights on it making sense of some symbols a guy calling himself +he Ghos+ made before sunrise.

To give you your exact GPS coordinates.

...

I've got "Epic Brain," this morning.

Anyone whose ever had more than one project going on at once knows this feeling.

My thoughts pull towards: Colore.

The first time I published the Epic's title. ^

This whole Ghos+ business will make some very practical sense real soon.

It's important for so many of the themes in Colore that I remain anonymous as possible for awhile.

It throws profiling out the window.

Yup, an American Epic called Colore, by an author we know little, but so much about (six hundred and four posts worth).

It's one reason why I've shared with you in this ghostly manner everyday for over a year now.

Consider Wonder Fell a getting to know you session, a conversation with your introverted often in daydreams friend who never lets you down. O/

There's a lot we need to talk about America, a lot we need to remember.

Like common decency and what Hope is for.

Thanks for reading.

Onto other pages for you to read later.

Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

The Materials of Art

2025.10.26

Sunday, October 26, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Oh Autumn, with its slow sunrises... taking time to gather all the colors of Fall before showing.

How's your day? O/

A so much to say day in the air here.

So, let's go.

On with our show...

...

"How do you know what to write about?"
- Interested Reader Who Also Writes

There are a few ways to go about writing.

One: Have an idea, sit, and start.

Two: Sit and start. See what comes and keep going.

They both come down to listening, a certain kind of trust for your imagination and your craft.

Your craft is your imagination's means of transportation. The pun works.

Craft also grows. The more we create the more we can create. Skills advance, too.

Imagine if every time you drove your car the car itself provided a better ride.

That's the creation experience of showing up consistently to create.

Musicians know this. You have to play everyday. Practice, they call it.

The analogy blurs between practicing playing an instrument and writing in that there's a right way to play Bach, but what's the right way to write you?

You could practice writing like your favorite author, but it's disingenuous somehow.

You get good at mimicry. It's acting not writing. It's a step removed from you.

There's an aspect of knowing yourself required to make art. A familiarity with your dreams and perceptions of life is necessary to create anything sincere.

So you have to sit alone and know yourself.

Any artist in any craft devoid of a knowledge of a relationship with their dream of life can only ever be an actor at best.

So many of our screen playwrights and popular musicians fall into this category.

It's the difference between Art and Entertainment, a mocking bird and an eagle in flight.

Any Artist truly committed to Art for Art's sake is always viewed as a loner. Not because of personality quirks, but for the sake of their business.

We have to sit alone, be alone, to harness a genuine understanding of our personal experience of life so we can best express it.

We're not anti-social; we're working.

If you're consistently creating, you're not depressed. You're gathering materials to create.

Daydreaming and self-reflection are necessary skills of any true artist.

Tell your friends and loved ones you're working and go stare at the wall.

Every Artist will know where you really are: Feeding yourself with the dreams necessary to sustain your art.

It only becomes what we call Depression when we don't have a practice developed. Choose your craft. Choose many. Sing or strum, write or paint; the idea is to create for a set time everyday.

Even if it's just one chorus from one song, one sentence, or stick figure drawing at first. Something. Everyday.

Your whole life will improve. Stay consistent. Enjoy it.

To make anything requires materials. You're not depressed Artist, you're gathering dreams.

Dreams are shapeless things, spirit. We give them form through the creation of thoughts. Our thoughts become actions.

Have your actions preloaded. Pick up your instrument at the same time everyday, write, paint, draw, sing. Shape that dreamtime stored in you with your craft.

Some call it a flow state, but it's really just being prepared.

Preparations are made by daydreaming. It's part of the work Artist.

Thank you for taking the time to gather dreams and share them.

Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Swoop the Sky

2025.10.25

Saturday, October 25, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way. O/

Sunrise.

Calm, covered-up to every horizon in comfortable cloud blankets sky.

Leaves fall fast in Autumn, quick change shadow shapes on every lawn and street.

The persistent fall of leaves leaves a spooky trail of shadows in the wake to wake up to.

The scene is set for Halloween.

Hope all's well with you this morning.

On with our show...

...

What's next?

Maybe Saturdays mean so much to you.

Friends, family, leisure time.

Just plain ol' fashioned chill....

Whatever your plans, I hope you enjoy them.

Wonder Fell's entries have been shorter the past few mornings.

Words want prose.

There's no holidays or days off when you do what you love.

Why take a vacation from doing your heart's content?

And now the grey breaks away and blue shines through, little spaceships called cirrus clouds swoop the sky.

Good day today feel in the air.

Wish the same for you.

I'll post a poem or two more on the site today.

Take care, enjoy your time, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Your Conviction is Enough

2025.10.24

Friday, October 24, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Blue-grey mist glows to show the silhouette of the horizon.

Welcome Dawn. O/

Welcome back Dreamers.

Hope you slept well.

On with our show...

...

What do you love?

Careful how you answer. It says everything about you.

Dreams and doing dreams. Words and doing words. Here.

And you.

Thank you for your consideration.

How do we treat each other better?

Surely we know.

Every story ever told tells the same truth.

We know how to live well.

Wonder Fell isn't a place for commentary on current events, but eternal events.

We're only ever as good as our courage to live our best dreams is strong.

There's a lot online to tell you what's in the way of living a good life.

But what's here to help you live a good one?

Wonder Fell, for one.

Your conviction that you're worth it is another.

Your conviction is enough.

You have your dreams for a reason.

Where'd they come from?

Random electrical responses in your fleshy brain?

Really?

Who sold you that idea?

Life wants you to achieve your best dreams of a best life.

That's why you have your dreams.

...

Pep talk sunrise this morning.

Some inspiration with your breakfast.

One week before I start releasing parts of the Epic.

I'll post it on Wonder Fell.

It does deal with some current events. Some new language for old ills in hopes to help us heal.

In some ways Wonder Fell is a 'getting to know me' exercise. There are a lot of strong cultural issues the Epic brings up.

A trustworthy narrator is someone's car you want to get into.

Central AC and Heating, or windows down here. Comfort and convenience for you.

We'll take the backroads and enjoy the view.

The journey's at least half the joy.

Take care today, thank you for reading, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Simple, Honest Thing

2025.10.23

Thursday, October 23, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Good to be read by you again. O/

Courtesy and gratitude first thing in the morning for you.

A few hundred words or so to bring some wonder, some peace, some resolve to your everyday while the sunrises.

Hope all's well with you.

On with our show...

...

Every person, organization, Country has a story that shapes and defines it.

It's called the spirit of the thing.

How's the spirit of your thing today?

How's your story Morning Glory?

Cut, copy, and paste it till it best suits your best dream of you.

It's a way to talk about soul.

We shy away from that word.

AI and rulers of every sort can't enumerate it.

But the soul is a simple, honest thing; it's your story of yourself.

Whatever your words are describing when you talk about you is what you are.

If for some reason you don't much like yourself (and you really should, you're a miracle) change how you talk about yourself.

Change your story to change your life.

Words are containers
For shared dreams
To share.

Crows this morning.
Lots of Fall's fallen
Leaves lots to pick up.

Take care, watch your language, and make wonderful this wonderful day.
