On The Hazards and Limitations of AI
We're fed what the software knows we like to eat and not necessarily what's best for us.

Good morning, Twfw. O/
Peace, sunrise, dreams come true.
How are you?
Do you consider The World a mirror?
Some people do.
It's said that: "Misery loves company."
But so does Joy.
"When sorrows come they come not in single spies but battalions."
-Shakespeare
But, Bard, the same can be said for joys.
Words of wonder, hope, goodwill and support everyday for you; we get what we give.
...
On Wonder Fell itself:
Been at this a couple of years now. Short stints on Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, Substack, Medium, everyday still on BlueSky...
At first being a ghost was a mix of annoyance and amazement. To tag a poem like The 51st State BLM on Medium and not receive a single response speaks to a broken system, a misinformed algorithm, or just blatant censorship.
And it wasn't only Medium. All the other major social media platforms gave the same zero response for similar, if not the same, work.
I've spent the past four years learning to walk again and healing a list of internal injuries the result of being literally killed when an SUV drove into my driver's seat at around 50 MPH.
Peace and quiet was part of my get-well plan. I viewed it as an opportunity to bring to light the hazards of algorithms.
I'm glad for the software; it's a great tool. But, as I wrote before, would you give a child a chainsaw?
There needs to be checks and balances for the sake of the progress of humanity. AI simply, by its nature, doesn't know what to do with anything new.
Grok, in Ancient Greece, would tell Aristotle not to bother... The World is flat.
How do minds like Aristotle's and cutting edge Artists like Van Gogh get discovered with software stuck in the past leading the conversation?
If people rely on algorithms for new information, how are they ever going to get new information? How are we ever to improve as a race?
We're fed what the software knows we like to eat and not necessarily what's best for us.
Wonder Fell is loaded with words of hope and encouragement for America. At the time of writing this, I have 3 times as many readers in China as I do in The States.
This is not to complain, only to make a point, a dire one. We can't rely solely on what's online to get our news and information.
Good old-fashioned human interaction is necessary to keep humanity progressing.
Soon I'll begin a more word-of-mouth campaign to view the difference, to further measure the hazards and limitations of AI.
Thanks for reading.
