The excerpt to each post here is now an Artificially Intelligent Summary of the content, the Greek Chorus telling the audience what's important in the piece.

As a disclaimer: I will never use AI to write for me. In fact, it's impossible. People make words; AI arranges pixels.

Remember the Renaissance?

History applauds it as a great time to be alive. What was different?

The cultural value placed on Artists.

We've never known anything like it in America.

With the advent of AI about to make so much human work unnecessary, an artistic uprising may just be the medicine our Country needs to see it through.

So much of what we fill our off-work moments with right now is entertainment, not Art.

Entertainment distracts; Art lifts up.

There's a widening of perception made available to the audience of Art. The world looks and feels new.

With the coming tide of software and robotics new ways of life are inevitable... and welcomed.

The economy of the future depends on OI (Original Intelligence). As our dependency on AI grows we will reach a point where humanity can do no better than the intelligence it has to work with in Large Language Models.

Evolution will depend on the creators of OI to update the Models.

Originality is a foundation of every work of Art. A painter's new vision painted, a musician's new song sung, a writer's original dream shared in symbols, are how humanity evolves.

We build on what came before.

AI = What came before.

The current uncomfortableness with AI is nothing new to Artists. It's why we're always viewed on the fringe and outskirts of society: Someone continuously must make it new to keep it going.
