Where'd I Come From?

A couple years ago I decided to expose the hazards of AI and algorithms by using my writing as an example. Just saying the real reasons we ought to be cautious regarding classification systems wasn't enough. People, especially big budget corporate media groups, need evidence.

Here's two years worth of daily posts a lot of good people would like to read, full of new ideas, hope, and a positive message for humanity completely unseen on all the major social media sites because the author didn't cater to a machine.

New and humbly helpful ideas in the realms of most of the day's most popular news story topics and not a single American was able to see any of it for over two years with new posts every single day.

A week or so ago I began playing the high school popularity contest that is the basis of social media algorithms.

People, good people, start to read me.

Where'd I come from? I've been here for years. Every. Single. Day. But without clearance from a corporate machine, this free press is unviewable.

So I've been playing with algorithms to have them view me as a the cool new kid in school.

I chose BlueSky to make my stand because their heart is in the right place.

Getting technology to work for us better is always the best way to treat a new invention.

Most of the current companies utilizing AI in the media (Press) sector right now are more focused on how to get people to better fit the classification molds the algorithms reflect back.

Anyone who believes AI makes them smarter has no idea what intelligence actually is.

AI is a personal shopper from a limited set of Internet Searches. No advancements can come from it without human oversight.

Oversight is what's lacking right now.

Where did all the information in data centers come from?

O/ The Original Intelligence of Creative Minds.

There is a legal dispute to be made in regards to AI using OI without the originator's expressed consent.

Having AI make a film or story in the style of Pixar or Stephen King, better be giving Pixar and Mr. King some credit or it's an act of theft.

Their styles and voices took years of hard work to develop.

The way AI is setup and used by most of the populace today is akin to cheating off the smart person in class to ace your test.

Obviously cheating is wrong, but what else?

When we take the quick and easy way, yes we don't learn anything; but we also don't add anything. Our unique experience and understanding isn't added to the living reality.

Story and Science, for instance, have no chance for growth without new eyes and ears constantly updating them.

Acts of Original Intelligence are how humanity evolves. Language is the software of humanity. Like the applications on our phones and computers it needs constant updates to stay current. OI is how we update the software called language.

Complete trust in Artificial Intelligence is an anti-evolutionary act. Our human software, without updates from Original Intelligence, is doomed to repeat the past.

Check the News Cycles from the past decade or so for proof.
