Morning journal posts from March 2026.

Enter The Poet. O/

A new way to see and sense requires new language to express and experience it.

Monday, March 23, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

A few hundred first thing in the morning words to help keep us grounded and guided as we shift to a more artificially intelligent world.

Everyday.

From a poet, nonetheless... those whose craft AI can never measure.

There's a unique rhythm of voice and word choice to make new metaphors which cannot be replicated that's intrinsic in poetry.

A new way to see and sense requires new language to express and experience it.

Enter The Poet. O/

Welcome to Wonder Fell. Stay awhile and read. Remember the world's still a beautiful place when we know where and how to look.

Thanks for looking.

...

How's your sunshine?

Like a blue light in a darkroom on a dimmer switch set to low, dawn shows in the night sky.

Wonder Fell's been wanting the past couple mornings. More... something new... a new light... some new arrangement of words?

Perhaps it's the call of Spring doing its thing.

Change! Grow! Live! The song of Spring.

Make it Beautiful one more spin.

Earth's Grow Show now in session.

Expect some changes in Wonder Fell soon.

Aesthetics, perhaps.

I hope all's well with you Dear Reader.

Nothing profound to find here this morning other than Spring's insistence to match Poetry's Commandment: "Make it new."

Maybe it's time for some upgrades in your Life.

Consider it, take care, and make a wonderful day.

Word Count

A writer is a play within a play called Life creating plays.

Sunday, March 22, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell way.

Welcome back. O/

Another day, some other rays of light to paint the World right.

Slow words this morning... dreams adjust.

How'd you sleep?

...

Years ago when the writing wouldn't flow, I'd force it to. Nothing much useful comes from lines made like that.

Word count doesn't count for much if your words don't count for much.

Let's talk about quality.

There are so many fashions and fads on how to write more, more, more. There's even software designed to write for you. But you can never have anything, or anyone, write something for you.

Using AI to write for you is copying off someone else's paper during a test.

Telling a bot to write you a story like Mark Twain doesn't produce an article of writing. That finished 'story' is nothing more than proof of winning a video game.

Congratulations you entered a successful prompt!

Quality of writing is found in the quality of experience of how you write.

It's why writers prefer quiet places to work; our best states of mind are found there.

I've read many writers consider their best writing comes when they think of it like talking on paper.

But writing and speaking are no more similar than singing a melody or playing it on the piano.

So many more options are available with 88 keys and a pen or QWERTY board than with just a human voice.

Harmony of the notes and words... timing for another.

Back to quality: what it is and how to get to it consistently.

Imagine going to lunch with a good friend you haven't seen in years. You both sit, order food, get comfortable.

Then you each take out your phones, open your Casual Conversations App, type in 'catch-up with an old friend,' sync your phones, and press play.

Your phone speakers chat away while you both drool, stare out windows, and wait for your food....

The point of friendship is human interaction. Now, if you both commented and laughed on the mock conversation from the app together that would be a positive life-affirming experience.

Software can never replicate what it means to be human. There's more than flesh and bones to our flesh and bones.

Which is why we communicate... to share those qualities that make Scientists roll their empirical eyes: Our hearts and souls.

Every human being is a living story. Every story is about renewal, growth, and change in the hands of hope.

So when you write you are communicating a story within a story: This Tale of You.

A writer is a play within a play called Life creating plays.

Quality in writing comes from how well we match the moment of the creation of our words to the state of the moment in our lives.

What's going on with your personal story while you write goes into every word typed.

Words are always wholly representative of the moment they are created.

Say hello to a friend, a stranger, a business associate and that same word means something slightly different depending on the relationship.

Get your relationship to writing to best suit your love for the craft. Sit down for romance every time you write. Make love while you make sentences and every word will sound your heart and soul. And perhaps, finally, give Scientists something to measure while they contemplate The Beautiful.

Take care and make a wonderful day.

Have You Noticed?

2026.03.21 It all started with the meme.

Saturday, March 21, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Words of hope, encouragement, and wonder for a new world.

And it is new.

Have you noticed?

Men and women wanting to be women and men regardless of their bathroom routines. Robots and computers that do our work for us. Software to simulate intelligence. The ability to talk with almost anyone, at anytime, in any Country, in almost any language.

The World is a place for boarders and not borders.

Have you noticed as much, how similar we are?

It all started with the meme.

Different cultures taught for centuries we were so different found out through the use of memes, we're all so very much alike.

We moved on to showing our relationships with cats and dogs and brought the world into our homes in a relatable way.

If The Internet has taught us anything, it's that mothers and fathers the whole world over want the same things for their families.

If we spent as much time helping each other as we do blaming each other, we'd have World Peace in a year.

American politics at present is a very loud microcosm of how too many of The World's cultures have refused to get along as far back as history records.

Quite frankly it's childish greed and limited foresight that cause all the major conflicts of The World.

A survival of the fittest attitude forgets your survival is based on the quality of your environment... forgets the quality of your environment is based on the well-being of others.

Helping care for others is taking care of yourself.

So I send you words of hope, encouragement, and wonder every morning to help myself out, too.

Selfish? No. The way life works.

We get what we give. Plant an acorn you get an oak, not a rose garden.

Blame another for your hardships, you get blamed right back. You don't get a rose garden or a peaceful solution.... any solution at all.

Leaders that blame those they lead poison their own food before they eat it.

Thoughts on The World Stage with sunrise this morning.

Drab sky, clouds for a maybe Spring rain maybe some sunshine.

Take care and make a wonderful day.

Spring!

Time for what's new to start its procession to the stage.

Friday, March 20, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Spring! Happy Birthday Life!

The Great Green Grow Show is Go!

All things rise to fall, then fall to rise. Life is a circle going somewhere.

Where? Well, if we follow the patterns of how Life works, the answer is: To The Start.

We start out a dream of Life in our parents and we end as a dream of Life in The World.

Circles cycle The World around and today is Spring!

Time for what's new to start its procession to the stage.

Out with the old and in with the new is Nature's way.

What about you, Dear Reader? What old ways did Winter wash away for you? What new ways will you grow anew?

Time to get planting dreams of this new year.

It all comes down to the light all around.

The angle of the orbit of our sphere determines the seasons of the year.

The connection between light and life is the basis for all life and grossly neglected by Science.

The Big Bang was a light switch.

All puns always intended.

Deep start of the universe dreams give way to thoughts of buds on bare oak tree branches. Time to bloom while they loom in the first blue hue of Spring's sky.

If the world is a stage, as Shakespeare wrote, today is Curtains up.

Lights, Camera, Act One... Spring.

Thanks for reading, plant some dreams, take care and make a wonderful day.

Why'd You Forget?

Everyday The Sun rises to make possible a place for your dreams to come true.

Thursday, March 19, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

The promise of a new day; it's always kept. What's up with that?

The World spins wishes, hopes, rational thoughts, and Scientific theorems around a star. It doesn't discriminate.

Each and every dream in every imagination has a safe place to turn and churn and yearn to be made real.

Everyday The Sun rises to make possible a place for your dreams to come true.

And while the words sound inspiring they're just stating the most basic truth.

Why'd you forget?

Did you pick up someone else's dreams of a good life and let yours go?

Sit awhile with yourself and remember yourself.

You are alive for a reason. It's up to you to decide that reason and live your life accordingly.

No one else is responsible for the quality of your thoughts and dreams but you.

Life is the process of making dreams real.

Picking up this pen to scribble some arbitrary lines requires the dream to do so first.

So does picking it up to pen a masterpiece.

The quality of the work is always determined by the initial dream of the work.

Like a prompt fed to an AI bot, your return is only ever as good as your investment.

Your dreams are the prompts you feed this great operating system called Life.

Be clear. Be honest. Be considerate. Be persistent. And watch your dreams return.

The World is a mirror for the dreams you present.

The first robin's song this year... a day early by the calendar. Spring arrives tomorrow.

Take care and have that wonderful day already.

An Umbrella for Day

Night is an umbrella for Day; the Sun showers fire.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Order up. Sunshine divine on the way for breakfast.

If you've ever dove deep into a pool of water and kept your eyes open as you surfaced, you have a great metaphor to match a sunrise.

We surface into the air; we rise into the light.

Everyday.

In fact, that's what makes a day: We fill with light till noon, then submerge into the dark until the next sunrise.

Night is an umbrella for Day; the Sun showers fire.

...

Something new in today's sunrise...

A group of grackles flew by in formation to announce the change.

Do you know about grackles? They look like small crows who just flew through a rainbow. Wide-eyed in technicolor.

So... what's new with today?

Something good is the sense of it.

Let's keep it something to wonder about until it makes itself clear.

A short entry. Some mornings just want daydreams to sit and consider the sky.

Sunrise is a masterful painter when you view it right.

As always, thank you for reading. Take care, recognize something good when it shows, and make a wonderful day.

Do You Think The Earth Thinks?

I know She does.

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

It's a ridiculous metaphor, though one that sticks every year: Snow like scrubbing bubbles to wash away last year's mess.

Last night heavy rains cleared away what's left of most of the snow. The stage is cleaned and ready for Spring's Green Grow Show.

Do you ever consider such things? Your ancestors did. The answers to so many of your 'whys' are found in such considerations.

We learn from The Earth how best to live in The World. Scrubbing bubbles on kitchen counters to soak away the mess to make a clean space to cook again. Snow to prep the stage for Spring's growing ways.

When we pay attention to the ways Nature helps herself, we learn how to help ourselves.

A curious daydreamer sat by a hillside watching rocks roll down a hill invented the wheel.

This consideration, that we do best when we take what lessons The Earth has to show us and apply them to our own lives, is the basis of Scientific thought.

Humanity views how Mother Nature works and applies the reflection to our own lives to improve our experience living here.

Rain and wind feed her body like food and drink sustain us.

But do you think The Earth thinks? Do you think She feels?

You know your house cat and family dog do. What about our planet?

I know She does.

The Earth, like all of us, is responsive to touch.

I consider Her the greatest of all mothers and treat her as such.

It's a simple thing to do. Let her know She's not taken for granted. Work with Her and not in spite of Her. And every once in awhile let Her know She's Beautiful.

The ways to treat anyone we love are the ways to best care for The World.

Your whole existence depends on Her well-being. A thank you now and then is definitely in order.

Dawn. Lights on. Thanks World for a place to shine.

Take care everyone and make a wonderful day.

A Literal Process

Evolution, for humanity, is a literal process.

Monday, March 16, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Rain. The first light of dawn.

Like the best restaurant waiter comes to ask you how's your meal, so Wonder Fell inquires: How's your sunshine?

Did you get what you hoped for?

With all this wishing upon all these stars, funny how we forget the Sun's one too.

If it's day, there's no reason to search for a star to send your wishes to. Just look up.

If physics has anything to do with making wishes come true, it'll get here faster. The Sun's the granter of dreams closest to us.

Fairytales and daydreams, poetry and an epic poem... words that make lasting change.

Wonder Fell's cup of tea.

...

The only way to ever truly change anything is to update your definitions of your words.

It's the reason for censorship and why poets in cultures long ago were treated with such respect.

Our craft is the only way change sticks.

Evolution, for humanity, is a literal process.

Update your definitions to upgrade your life.

America's been stuck in the muck on some very important words since our inception.

We've debated, we've marched, we've shed blood to prove our points. But none of those efforts instituted a lasting change.

Because the definitions remain.

Freedom, justice, race, equality... are some examples of words stuck in American muck.

The only way to heal our divides of understanding is to institute new stories to grow the definitions of our key Constitutional terms.

It takes poets and artists and musicians to paint a new picture of America to live in.

This is not pie-in-the-sky poet daydreamy thinking. This is the way civilizations are built and endure.

Colore is a starting point.

So I go back to it.

Thanks for reading, take care, and make that wonderful day.
