Cool Electric Cool

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Wonderful! Wonder Fell! Hello! O/
Bright pep-rally bugle blowing friend first thing is not an alarm clock to throw against the wall.
Though, they should be.
But they'd find a way to be bright cheery about the toss.
Better to meet them just after lunchtime when the sluggish slogs set in.
What cellphone song wakes you up?
What rings your rise and shine?
It says a lot about the kind of person you are. Your alarm clock sound tells you to wake up, and tells the rest of the world the type of person you are.
"Beep! Beep! Honk!" You're a get it done no nonsense don't consider yourself very creative type.
"Your favorite song." You're a creative spirit.
Whatever wakes you, good to be read by you again.
Here we go.
On with our show...
...
A thunderstorm just before dawn broke the two day heatwave.
Summer lightning is a welcomed spectacle.
It's electric cool.
Another slow record of slow-to-reach-me words to place down.
Summer's drawl for a call each morning lately.
How are you?
Speedy getting it done? Or slow rollin' doom-scrollin' the trendy News of the day?
People get together, by the way.
Groups of like minded people, organizations get together and decide what you should look at everyday, choose what's best to spend your time thinking about.
Not conspiracy theory stuff, the way of the world stuff at present.
Agenda groups called media outlets decide where and what you should think about.
Getting your attention is their first priority. Spectacle, and not what's best to talk on to raise the quality of our lives, is the only true concern of most of the modern press.
Unless you consider the source and their intentions before you click the article, turn to the radio station; you're being used for profits.
You're not helping yourself or anyone else, other than the companies paid for every view and click.
We are what we eat, and if you're chewing on spectacle shows for profit well... now you believe greed pays.
You might not like it, like you don't like seeing the tragedies spoon-fed you, but you tell yourself, it's just what you gotta do to succeed.
We feed a monster and soon enough the monster is big enough to hoard the food and decide when and who and where you get to eat.
That's the control of the media, the so called News, at present in our Country: A Monster.
A Beast.
Better to pay attention to what's going on in your local area than thousands of miles away.
Better to focus on what you can help directly than be directed to feel someone's anger regarding issues beyond your reach.
Someone who's paid to be angry to keep you listening.
If you get riled up about something you have no influence on, you're a pawn for a machine or two for ratings, bottom lines, and political agendas.
Most of what we call News in America is actually Propaganda.
Words are my business and News, in The United States, is now a synonym for Propaganda.
Whoever holds the camera decides what you're allowed to see.
Whoever tells the story the pictures show is only telling you what they believe is important regarding the images.
Not facts, interpretations packaged in spectacle so you'll watch.
Confusion, what's going on now? What wild circus party is happening where?
Sensational circus shows are only slight of hand Vegas card tricks to get you to look at the spectacle while the actual pertinent event is happening behind the scenes.
Government is dull work. Papers signed. Bills deliberated on and passed.
If you're not seeing what's voted on in the legislature, you're not watching the News, you're looking at an elephant and donkey circus show directed by a fox and a peacock.
It breaks my heart and our Country that we choose the light show over the substance, the image over the actual.
There is so much more to say on this subject, and I do in other places, at other times.
Until good News focuses on good news, we're feeding ourselves poison and wondering why we're not healing.
What we feed is what survives.
Time we start feeding what lifts us up over what pisses us off or we won't last much longer.
Take care, think about what you watch, and who's taking the pictures, and why they want it to look and sound that way; take a look around your neighborhoods, online chats, work meetings, schools, and see the pictures fed you aren't reality, click to another webpage or change the station, and make wonderful our wonderful day.

A Sentence Like a Word
2025.06.05
Thursday, June 5, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Top of it! O/ The morning, that is.
A formal hello from your informal, very ironically, personable Ghos+.
Tux or evening gown, pajamas or hoodie, oh goodie another sunrise.
Here we go.
On with our show...
...
Pastel powder slow fade lightshow sky this morning.
Spring passes the sunlight to Summer. Another hot day on the way.
Traffic whooshes and wahoos its way to work on the Interstate.
Hope your commute, wherever you're going, is a good one.
Maybe you picked a new playlist, or went with the regular reliable one, or live radio surprises with just the right songs to grace the speakers in your car.
A robin atop the chain link fence surveys the yard, swoops! a smile face pattern to the taller fence across the grass.
One of these days you'll get it right.
That dream you've been meaning to do will start to show steps to accomplish it.
Perhaps that's today.
It does help to visualize its success first.
We should always begin with the end in mind.
If there's no destination to enter into the GPS, directions don't matter.
Paths are places for arbitrary footsteps if you're going nowhere.
Slow to pick a destination this morning; sometimes the day just works. There's nothing to stand out, not much to say.
...
I used a semicolon in the above paragraph; I thought of a writer's reluctance.
In terms of literature, the semicolon is a private moment shared, an inside joke or confidence.
You and I know the two concepts make a distinction. There's a definite sub-textual importance shared in the ideas.
A semicolon treats a sentence like a word.
There's a relationship between the two that makes a new definition.
It's a great literary tool, and a shame so many writers shun it.
There's an earned intimacy with your reader necessary to make it work.
The two images each sentence brings to the work go together in an important and distinct way to serve the work.
The contrast is the most important message, not each singular clause, the relationship between the two.
What went before coincides with what follows.
A semicolon is a second sentence that learned from the first.
It's the work learning from the past to better define itself.
"Oh, the memory of that caused you to do that? Oh, that thought or experience led to this one? Oh, I get you. I see why you made those connections."
- Well Earned and Trusting Reader
The expression of the 'why of the connections' is what a semicolon expresses.
It's a single idea; it's one clause.
Take care, watch your grammar, punctuate conservatively with flair and make wonderful (with or without an Oxford comma) your wonderful day.

From Coffee to Tea
2025.06.04
Wednesday, June 4, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Steady on Poet.
Steady on Ghos+.
The words don't write themselves.
Hello, again. O/
Glad you're here.
The coast is clear.
+he Ghos+ is here.
So glad you're here.
Hope all's well.
I know it is somehow.
Hope you're brave enough to see it.
I know you are somehow.
So... here we go.
On with our show...
...
Did you miss out?
Were you busy doing something good for someone else and missed out on something good for you?
Maybe illness got in the way, had to put your dreams on hold?
Stop playing catch up.
You get to work on those dreams now, so get to work on those dreams now.
Don't rush, don't rest, do your best.
Like humble me. O/
Sun's up; sky thinks it's white.
Blue starts a soft reminder.
What's up with you? Anything new?
I'm sure there is. Take a look and see.
...
Theme for today? Prismatic static, what's in the way. Get in tune. Find your harmonies. Shine your color clear. The rule is clarity. Be clear. Be quiet. Be calm so you can project your best image on the world and live to see it real.
Uplifting words today.
Hope your day meets your expectations.
Hope you expect miracles.
A little more than warm day to follow the cool morning to signal Summer soon.
Hope my words find you well preparing for a positive season change.
I went from coffee to tea the past few days. The change is remarkable.
Still the lift, still the boost. But Tea is a kind friend's encouragement, not a Drill Sergeant called Coffee.
Maybe you'll give it a try. You'd be surprised how much more you get done.
How the quality of your work increases when you walk it don't run it.
Not to mention the time saved not having to go back and clean up after the rushed job.
Coffee has its place, still. Just not All. The. Time.
I write these every morning. I don't edit other then when I transfer them online.
A word or two, a misspelling, some shifts of paragraphs for graphical aesthetic upgrades.
I take my time. I feel the sentence. I go with the flow.
It's easy to do when you do it for sometime everyday.
A few decades of days makes editing only a matter of rearrangement.
Though, I never edited much my whole writing life. I trust my voice, my perceptions, so I take my time. Care and individualized attention is in every sentence. It's not a slow process, not a fast process; it is The Process.
Vanity? No.
Trusting the record of the moment based on the feeling you have while writing it down.
The words match the sense image; the work is done.
Writing well isn't hard; it feels right.
A forced write is a forced read.
A rushed write lacks depth of moments; there's not enough time stored in each word.
"Zip! Zap! Zoom! What did I read? Well I'm done. Where's my coffee? Go!?"
- Rushing Writer/Rushing Reader
If you want to sit and read and remember the peace and emotions words can bring, recall the wonder recognizing another's dream that reading can bring, be reminded of the power of quiet moments to change your thinking, have the opportunity to see new dreams to add to your dreams to raise the quality of your life; you're in the right place.
Because I feel that way as I write. And I'm as honest as I can be.
What would be the point if I weren't?
The only thing worse than lying is lying to yourself.
It's my life, they're my words, tell 'em true as you can Ghos+, or go do something else.
- Ghos+ Talking to Himself
Thank you for your time spent sharing my dreams of each morning, take care and make wonderful your wonderful day.

A Circle Dream
2025.06.03
Tuesday, June 03, 2025
Good morning, The Wonderfell Way.
Good news!
It's me, your friendly Ghos+. O/
Glad you're back.
Let's go.
On with our show...
...
Summer, to Autumn, to Winter, to Spring, seasons do their thing.
Water, to ice, to steam, everything's A Circle Dream.
Sunrise to sun-fall, to sunrise, to fall, circles rule us all.
Time is cyclical.
Which is just a way to say what you do has an effect which affects you.
You throw the ball (start of a circle), Abe runs after it, picks it up and places it in your hand (end of the circle).
Call it A Game of Fetch.
Each circle of fetch is different.
Sometimes I throw the ball far so Abe's run is longer.
Sometimes the ball lands in a pile of leaves, and Abe has to sniff it out and find it before he brings it back.
But he always brings it back.
If he didn't we couldn't call it a game of fetch.
A type of circle that happens often: "Wynn throws a ball while Abe opens one eye, watches the toss, closes his eye, and returns to snoring... Wynn shakes his head, laughs, and leaves the ball where he tossed it Circle.
All time works this way.
What we call a habit is a circle engrained.
The more often Abe and I play fetch, the more the game consistently fits its definition.
Want to start something new?
Define what starting and finishing looks like and keep repeating those actions in order.
The circle (habit) becomes clear, truer, with every turn.
Take care, spin to win, and make wonderful your wonderful day.

Lola Gets
2025.06.02
Monday, June 2, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
O/ Howdy.
How's it going?
Body flowin'?
Getting it done?
A little fun in the sun?
Answering some questions from your friendly Ghos+?
Good.
Hope all's well.
Time for a spell.
Here we go.
On with our show...
...

Fun with fancy free in the air this morning.
Not sure the usual going rate for fancy, but today your fancy is free!
Free, that's a word to talk about, a concept to define.

Freedom is a matter of the ability to choose and the nature of choice.
Rules govern Nations. We adapt and change our rules, call them laws, and we have the foundation for a free society.
We're born free to choose what to do with our surroundings. Our surroundings are the results of shared choices.

Time spent with a friend is time spent sharing choices. This holds true in all dealings, business, romantic, and family, too.
Freedom is the measure of the flexibility in a relationship.

Abe!
New Squeaky Toy Day!
She's no Princess Pata, but she is a purple dragon named Lola.
And "Whatever Lola wants," we know, "Lola gets."

She wants Abe to slow down, get to know her first before heading right for her squeakers.
Yes, squeaker(s)!
Lola is no average woman; she's got five.
Dragon-sized love for my romantic dog.
But only if he old-fashioned takes his time and gets to know her first.

Lola knows she's a rare woman. She's not just giving her goods away. Abe's got to earn her love.
The way it ought to be.

Take care, enjoy your freedom by sharing choices with another, slow down and get to know each other, and make wonderful your wonderful day.

Change and Cherry Blossoms
2025.06.01
Sunday, June 01, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Happy new tag day. June. O/
Drab weather.
Fab weather or not the weather is hot.
Like you. 😘
You got this day.
Time to shine your sunshine ray.
Let's go.
On with our show...
...
How ya been? Doin' your thing?
Good. Get it done. Time for some fun.
Serious dream talks, walks through the world of writing, Sunshine Valentine's Sun Shiny Delightful posts, Somber-town trips to Betterville... a journal, the morning journal of a poet.
- Quite a ride.
- Hope you enjoy it.
- Hope you buckled up.
- Hope you hold on.
- Switching gears.
- Full steam ahead.
It's a business mindset, entries like this. Worldly ways for my Wordy ways.
'Economic viability' for a poet, any artist really, means:
- Food? Check. ✔️
- Water? Check. ✔️
- Shelter? Check. ✔️
- Solitude? Check. ✔️
But words are wrote to be read, pictures to be seen. 'The more the merrier' is also in every artist's dream.
So days like today...
But there's also magic to write about, spells to share.
But that's business, too.... When to press 'post' on story words?
Timing.
Making the thought process on timing interesting enough for you to read... not worth our time.
A good day, there's a way to know these things. Change and cherry blossoms in the air.
Sometimes poets and their choppy, listy, sentences... Thanks for reading them.
Hindsight and foresight fall an easy second to insight because insight made and makes you.
With Abe's eyes on the yard watching for squirrels and maybe a rabbit, with the soft humid Spring sunrise up enough to call morning, here's hope for you for a good day.
Take care and make it a wonderful one.
