So Sing the Songbirds

Good morning, Twfw. O/
Peace. Autumn takes center stage. Halloween decorates front lawns and front doors. Trees take their cue and begin a lightshow of color. The wind shakes each technicolored leaf and makes a multicolored shaking scene of shadow and light.
Songbirds wake and sound a truthful reminder. Life is worth singing about. And though every robin's song sounds similar it's always unique, always a property of the full experience of the time of its music.
Like speech so sing the songbirds; but also like writing.
Every time a word is read the intention of the author returns to life translated by its reader. All reading is an act of resurrection.
What author's intention do we bring to life when we read the words of Artificial Intelligence?
The desire of a group of intellectuals set to classify the experience of life into convenient classes.
But words do more than measure, they build, they create, they express.
Beauty, joy, empathy, and hope are absent from our modern means of conveying words.
It sounds like Science-Fiction, but it's our current reality. One of the most pertinent questions every person has to ask themselves right now is: How am I different than a machine?
In that answer is the cure to all the world's current most pressing societal and personal issues.
The more we allow artificial means to arrange and distribute language for us, the more we stop giving a damn about one another.
There's no empathy or hope in the language of machines. Warmth for a robot is the measure on a thermometer, for a person it is a lot more than that.
That lot more quality is what is lacking from the news of the day, lately.
So I share my morning journal everyday to help fill some of the void created by well-intentioned over-enthusiastic Scientists.
I'm thankful for all the advancements of Science, but there's more to life than adding it up; there's the joy of adding it up.
The joy is part of my business. And a hazardous thing to leave out of any metric, as the state of our current media proves on a daily basis.
Hope is for and from the living. What use is freedom to a machine?
I suppose we should thank Algorithmic Science for showing us the necessity of Art. The absence of what the Creative Arts are for is what's lacking from our daily news cycles.
It's why so many turn to comedians to get their News. There's more of what's human it it and so it's more genuine.
Our emotional and personal reactions to current events matter. As long as people feel remorse for tragedies there's hope for humanity.
Machine washing current events removes empathy, care, and human concern from the living reality, where it most certainly needs to be for the well-being for us all.
If life doesn't matter emotionally, why bother measuring it? Why keep going just to eat and rub up and down against things?
At some point in our recent history we removed human concern from our metrics and it's starting to have horrific results.
Morality, how we treat each other, matters because life is worth more than just what counting calories and blood pressure monitors are for.
Why is lacking. Science doesn't touch the question. That one's for jobs like mine and other Artists. Us Why People have to stand-up, humanity is at a critical point. Science is making a play at language and it has no concern for the full living experience of day-to-day existence.
Creation is also a function of humanity. Science can only measure what's created. It lives in the past. That is why our News cycles are in an algorithmic holding pattern. There's no hope and so nothing can change.
Nothing new is created, so nothing new is measured.
That's the state of our union right now.
So I keep adding new words every morning, for free, until we come to our senses and return living human concern as the number one metric for News.
Thanks for your consideration.
Congratulations, again, for reading.
