Good morning, Twfw. O/

Twenty six letters in the alphabet, years in the millennia, days in this month. the day, The year, the words have something in common.

This relationship transcends what our Science and algorithms can do. What the unique relationship I recognized between the day, the year, and the alphabet represents is a new opportunity for a metaphor.

Serious stuff.

Everything a machine can't do with time and language is in the ability to make a metaphor.

To be able to relay living experience in symbol and sound is what language creation is all about.

When we make a word we make our living experience something real. We can sense it and we can share it. Our thoughts and dreams become something we build with.

Serious stuff.

How we arrange the words we inherited define our use for them.

Small talk, a sonnet, a pop song, an academic lecture, a preacher's sermon, a scientific thesis, and more, each have their own poetic rules, ways and rhythms of sharing.

Science, for instance, is a poetic form aimed to celebrate and share The Universe's perceived consistency. The language is dull and repeatable because that's the desired conveyance.

Poetic language (O/) has within a sense of Beauty and Wonder absent by necessity in the ways of Scientific language.

All that lyrical lines can do and represent is sorely missing from our day to day interactions.

I write at sunrise because the event is always uncontestable beautiful.

What's up with that?

A whole lot we haven't talked or wrote about for a long time.

As a poet I understand the concerns with AI. The main point of this whole website is to show you there's no reason for that concern.

Language is safe. Art is safe. A video game can't relay living experience. A machine may be able to do Science, but it can never write a poem... or new Science. Which, as shown above, are different forms of the same action.

AI can copy, can imitate, by never create.

A Large Language Model can never write your personal journal because your are your own Living Language Model.

There's a part of each of us called Life itself that no machine can ever imitate.

Our freedom to choose our own best language to define our lives is I believe our greatest gift.

Each one of us has a unique point of view to share. Even dull Science tells us no one's DNA is ever exactly the same.

We are all new expressions of a singular dream called Life. Even our nucleic acid proves this point.

See that last paragraph? There's a reason the language of reason left out. A truth requiring poetic metaphor to relay.

Here's another: Each snowflake under a microscope is a beautiful sight. A unique one of a kind work of art straight from the sky.

Because there's no life without the light from our Sun, the same can be said about you and I.

Thanks for reading.
