Screeching American Robins at Sunrise
And so, the state of the modern media.

Good morning, Twfw. O/
Songbirds and stories this morning.
A robin, a blue jay or two, some sparrows, a dove quietly coos. But that robin... volume set to how-high-does-this-volume-go loud... if you didn't take a moment to listen past it you'd believe it was the only bird in town.
And so, the state of the modern media.
Screeching American Robins at sunrise.
There's a lot more worth listening to and seeing in the trees and the Country, than that prima donna robin.
Art always sets the stage, writes the plays and ways of humanity.
For the past couple of decades our Arts and Entertainment industries have been focused on spectacle. And so its found its way into our politics and media.
Because its the best way to get people's attention right now.
The same ways of Hollywood run and rule Corporate Media. It's time artists took some responsibility for the state of our union.
We set the tone for our Nation. For too long the state of American Art has been a one note symphony called: Spectacle.
But there's more to a morning than a prima donna robin's song.
There's friendship, community, and the ways and hopes of every hero.
There's love, there's justice, there's hope, there's progress.
America, there's more to Life than fireworks and faster.
It's time our Artists started showing and singing it for the sake of us all.
And so I write.
Thanks for reading.
