Good morning, The Wonderfell Way.

Good to be read by you again. O/

Sun's up.

Deep thought boulevard on the way.

If that's not your thing there's plenty more on the site to lighten your day.

Try Love, or Ugly Dogs, or a Post-Modern BOP, for instance.

Hope all's well.

Here we go.
On with our show...

Just thoughts and sentiments so many of us have but we don't talk enough about.

A TL;DR: of sorts. ^

How do you know yourself?

How do you find yourself?

Find a mirror and say hello....

It's more than that, more than your image that makes you, You.

Start with recognizing what you're naturally good at and what brings you joy to do.

For me it's writing, poetry specifically... lucky me.

It may not seem the most economically viable of activities, but it's what I'm best built for.

So my best life is one that is built to serve my ability to write.

If I'd been built to throw a fastball 90mph or greater, and I enjoyed throwing it, I'd have built my life around it.

Good chance you'd see me on a sports network and not have to unbury me in an Internet full of babel.

It's where we put our sense of value.

When we value artists as much as athletes our civilization will grow.

It's not that valuing sports and leisure are wrong; it's the overemphasis of importance we place on them.

It's our addiction to spectacle that feeds college scholarships to athletes and starves artists.

But some of our best moments, what we remember most, what has the most lasting impact on the quality of our lives, comes from the experiences gained from stories, and words, and what pictures and paintings can do.

There's the experience of being alone.

Some of us call it peace and quiet.

Some of us call it 'Where are my sleeping pills?'

Too many of us are in the latter category.

Our lives became exercises in distraction.

We thought if we're not doing something we're not living, we're wasteful, worthless.

But this is far from true.

Our lives are the process of making dreams come true.

Not just the wish upon a star ones either.

Before you stand up to get a glass of water you have to dream it first.

Just because you're well-trained to do it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

When you want to pick up your glass of water your hand has to work a certain way.

How's it do that?

You learned it by watching, by witnessing the expression of another doing it, by seeing an actor pick up a glass you learned to do it yourself.

First there's the thought, or dream labeled with words, then the act.

A thought is a dream labeled with words.

Deep thought morning...

I want you to see the importance of sitting alone, of dreaming on purpose so you can live on purpose a life of purpose.

Dreams are so important. Actually they're mandatory. It's why we sleep.

If I told you breathing was mandatory you'd laugh cause it's obvious we all do it.

We all dream.

Dreaming is mandatory and just as vital to a healthy life as healthy breathing.

There's much to be said on this.

Better suited for essays, scientific studies and stories.

Wonderfell is a place of thoughts to provoke new thoughts.

Hopefully you gain some new material for your dreams here.

Thank you for reading.

Take care, dream well, and make wonderful this wonderful day.
