Good morning, Twfw. O/

Each sunrise paints every color into everything. There's only one crayon in the Universe's box of hues. The whole galaxy is the color of starlight.

Words give witness of what the light can do. Our lives are the process of shaping sunlight.

Every morning I write the sunrise. The story sent is always new. A candle and a star's light are never the same fire twice.

Been a lot of thoughts on AI the past month or so to wake up to.

There's this shared song passed along started millennia ago called Language: A tribute in symbols and sounds to the miracle of Life.

Words create understanding. Understanding makes building possible.

Words make us human. We're not so hairy monkeys without what language can do. Surrendering our powers of language creation to machines makes monkeys out of every person, corporation, or government that chooses to employ Artificial Intelligence to handle their communications.

Regardless how profound or appropriate the software's syntax, the act of communicating with a person via AI is akin to an ape throwing a banana at another to get their attention. There's no more consideration in the exchange than: "Hey, I'm important. Look at me."

Take the state of The Modern American Media for proof: Monkeys chucking bananas everyday on as many screens as algorithms can fill.

When we don't fill our words with us all we share is information. Words aren't information; they're what makes information possible.

Thought we could all use a reminder.

So I sit and write every sunrise new words, new ideas, new bananas for algorithms to chuck.

Thanks for reading.
