Solitude... a place and the peace to work.

Poets, writers, artists of all kinds... our biographies tend to look so odd to people in other professions.

But the reason why our lives are so unique so often is the requirements of our work.

Office space, for us, is a peaceful place safe enough to bring our dreams to life.

All of the greatest creations of humanity began with a person in a quiet space nurturing a dream to share.

Quiet consideration gave way to the high school popularity contest that is the Internet right now.

Lasting value took a backseat to spectacle. It's easier to get to Vegas online than The Smithsonian.

It's worth repeating: Morality, and not money, makes a nation great again... or at all.

Every morning The Sun rises. So many dismiss the event as ordinary. But some of us sit and witness the reliable wonder of it.

The Sun's not a ball of gas; it's a painter!
That Artist's a star!

Some of us see it that way everyday.

It's easy to remember how. Just sit. Pick a piece of the horizon and watch it get colored in by a star's light. Your whole day will improve if you do.

Really.

Sun's up now. The thin pine branch that fell on the neighbor's roof a few days ago still looks like a cheap toupee.
