You could be on so many other screens.

Thanks for choosing this one.

Says a lot about you that you did.

Shows you're the kind of person who puts substance over image, who knows people are better than so many other screens show us these days, that you still have dreams of living a good honest life spent living your dreams.

You're what's known as a good decent person. You're not as rare as other screens say. But you are to be thanked for your kindness, your understanding, your care.

We could gather all the kind people in the world in a singular moment and all of us all at once say: Enough.

If every good person shut off for a week, what passes for News would have to start showing more of what's best about us if the people pointing the cameras wanted to get paid.

There's plenty of good happening in the world right now.

Make it viral.

It's vital we do.

Good people, when you see something on any screen that gets you discouraged or upset, remember millions of dollars and hundreds of people took their time to feed that to you so you would feel discouraged and upset.

The same people who make Hollywood make what we let pass for News.

They want an emotional reaction to keep you watching to keep ratings.

Ratings and not truth of experience is their priority.

Good news is out there. It's happening right now.

Find it. Accentuate it. Share it.

We make the News; the News doesn't make us.

Wonderfell is more topical the past few days.

I don't, and rarely ever will, go into specific current events.

Because the major issue in America, our biggest beast, is the Modern Media.

We're spoon-fed poison and we do the best we can with it.

But we've forgot there is another option.

Shut it off. Change the channel. Share something positive.

This doesn't mean ignoring tragedy. It means a change of focus.

We're taught if we want the attention of the world we have to make a spectacle of ourselves. And so those who make the largest shock of the day get the most clicks and therefore the largest paychecks.

This is not right.

It is imperative to our survival we start to value substance over shock, substance over image.

Shock doesn't move civilization forward, kind stubborn persistent people do.

Thank you for being brave enough to recognize life's intrinsic value, for wanting to build and not break, for being strong enough to be kind.
