Sun's up.

The sky is a pastel blue hue.

The navy colored horizon arches to powder blue in a good morning gradient light show.

Wind rolls through the evergreens, checks the oaks for any remaining leaves. Shakes them off. Each one floats a sway to land on the snow covered Earth.

The breeze makes a sledding party out of each landed leaf.

The World welcomes winter.

Snow is after all only a blanket of pregnant rain, a preparation for Spring.

Mother Nature prefers white fitted bedsheets.
