Good morning, Twfw. O/

Early... even for a morning journal.

Thanks for joining me.

The right words... my life's purpose, my work.

Every word wrote embodies the exact moment in time it's written.

Our words represent us. A person or machine can no more write something for you than they can sing a song for you.

I believe a great wave of live Performance Art is on the way for the world. To see and hear live music shares something no screen can ever give: Life.

Living artists and entertainers, small local theatre playhouses; the world trends that way.

But what about the written word?

As charming and humbly handsome as this poet may be, would anyone wish to sit and stare while I scribble lines on a slab for hours?

A few weirdoes, perhaps.

Much of my thoughts lately are on how to save the sanctity of the written word. Language is our greatest gift. It's what makes us more than monkeys. There's no way to share Beauty or Dreams without the work I do.

Music is just a bunch of tones without words to shape them.

An Artist has a bucket of paint, brushes, pens, and pencils without words to show them where to make each line.

The written word is the best way to share what is best about us.

What's best about us continually grows and begs for definition. Our dreams are similar to our ancestors, but greater somehow because our language grew.

Without living creative people sharing text humanity can't evolve. Nothing can improve with machines managing language distribution.

History will always repeat itself with computers at the helm.

The state of current news cycles for the past half-decade or so are proof of that.

Businesses relying on algorithms for management tasks doom themselves to eventual demise. Progress happens in the present tense. AI is stuck in the past because it is based on what was and never what is.

A second ago is still the past.

Thinking happens now... in a living breathing moment. The written word is its record. Artificial Intelligence is: Recycled Records.

Nothing new means nothing new.

No new News, no new ways to profit, no new revelations; is business as usual for an algorithm.

And so the state of The Modern World.

And so I write the sunrise new every morning.

Someone's got to keep the lights alive on.

Thanks for joining me and keeping it new.
