Artificial Intelligence Isn't Intelligent

Dawn, always a festival of colors. Always new. Always worth our wonder.

Thanks for joining me. There's a lot to discuss.

Writers, Artists, Teachers, Good People; we need a voice. We need to make a stand.

The feeling that Artificial Intelligence can't make Art or Write is more than just a concern for our job security. It is a desire to protect what is human.

I love the good works of Science. But Science needs a reminder: There's more to life than it can measure.

In order for The Scientific Method to be any use at all a thing has to be created.

Artists of all types bring new things to measure into existence.

How AI works makes a great analogy.

If information isn't in the Large Language Model, it simply cannot be used in the classification process.

New human creations (Art for instance) cannot be used to help humanity better understand itself until they are shared by their living creators.

Humanity evolves through new living acts of creation.

The only hazard of placing all one's faith in Science is: Objectivity can only measure the past.

Something has to be made for Science to study it. But there's also the making.

Enter the Arts. O/

Not a matter of pride, a point to be made, no one uses a circle-slash quite like I do. And so, it means more for Scientists to measure.

How we choose to arrange our words is at least as important as which words we choose to use.

Because in the arrangement 'new' can be made to measure.

We call this new arrangement of symbols Art, a purposeful act of creation.

Here's the thing... why the World seems so odd this past decade or so.

Our Science teaches us no two humans are ever exactly the same. From this point of understanding, we see all acts of expression are in some way unique. Every act of human writing is new because the writer is new... Scientifically.

Words aren't facts; words make facts possible.

Facts grow because humanity evolves. The Earth was flat, factually.

Artificial Intelligence isn't intelligent; it's Scientific Mob Mentality. Sometimes that's helpful, sometimes that's a flat Earth.

There's no hope for a better tomorrow in it. The World left to the capabilities of AI stays flat.

What can be done? How best to use AI?

AI is where we start, not where we end. Artificial Intelligence is a new beginning.

Thinking of AI prompt returns as a starting place and not an end point helps humanity make an evolutionary jump. History no longer has to repeat itself.

An AI answer may be considered correct, but it is right?

The living must always decide. Right now that's you and me. O/
