What's Wonder Fell?

Quick answer: A single place for a working poet's writing.

There's poetry. There's an Epic in progress (An American One). And there's these morning pages.

It occurred to me a couple years ago, with the advent of AI, that the morning pages of a working poet would be an excellent example and reminder of what the written word actually is and is for. These words are for comfort, introspection, and a reminder that no machine can ever actually write or draw something.

A reference librarian devoid of sympathy or a responsive continuously updating encyclopedia is all AI can ever be.

A library without any books is just a vacant building. AI without human intelligence doesn't exist.

Original Intelligence (OI), including one-of-a-kind works of all the Arts, shelve the houses of AI.

There's plenty of words about LLM-Marts here already.

Poet's have unique perspectives; it's in our job description. No one writes or thinks like me... or you.

I've spent decades getting my unique views to fit comfortably into an arrangement of letters and punctuation that best reads like my insides sound.

Getting the words right is like knowing the next 'right note' when crafting a symphony; it takes time and work to get it right. We express this great living song within every time we speak and write.

Getting words to best match that living song is my life's work.

Only life can share life; AI is always second hand news.

There's already so much here on AI. I'd rather write the sunrise.
