# The Issue Isn't That Americans Don't Care

The morning after a full moon, the sphere starts to wane while this poet waxes poetically with the sunrise... everyday.

Thanks for joining me. There's a new world out there.

Science-Fiction turned reality while we kept dependable schedules to keep society going.

We haven't talked enough, created enough new language enough, to adequately and humanely live comfortably with AI in our daily lives.

For the past few months I began a new way to discuss[ its consequences](https://www.wonderfell.org/tag/ai/). I used the treatment of these words, this site, as evidence of the harm Artificial Intelligence brings to a free society.

At present, it's destroying America from within. This is no longer a bold claim; it's old news. Literally.

With over two years of pertinent words shared daily on every major social media network at different times without a single like, click, heart, or troll from an American; it's safe to say The Press in Our Country is no longer free.

When a headline like: [The American Press is No Longer Free: Here's Two Years of Daily Proof](https://www.wonderfell.org/the-american-press-is-no-longer-free/) posted on X, BlueSky, Threads, and Substack and received zero clicks, comments, likes, shares or trolls, the case is closed.

The issue isn't that Americans don't care. The issue is Americans can't talk to each other without permission from a machine.

I went without readers for two years to prove this point. I post everyday without catering my work to the requirements of a not-free-citizen, often called an algorithm, on purpose to exemplify an overlooked simple truth:

*A Dictator's Doctrine, a King's Faith, Science's Algorithms; are all the same thing in the eyes of The Constitution.*

If America's felt off to you for the past decade or so, now you know why: Our journalists are free; Our Press is not.

Every citizen who uses an algorithm to bring them their News commits an un-Constitutional act.

If any agency other than a free citizen delivers your Press; it ain't free.

Stop blaming incompetent politicians. They're nothing new. We have a system in place to make sure they don't do too much damage. It works and is still working.

The issue with having incompetent politicians is no one is minding the store. The Constitution goes unguarded. And here we are.

America is falling apart because everyday Americans choose something other than a free citizen to bring them their Press.

In this way, Our News is no longer new.

I grow tired writing on this subject, but until these words and their message reaches a caring enough American and they're shared; I won't stop.

I could reach out directly to a human in The Press of course, but it's best to let my lack of readers be the proof of my claim.
