O/ Autumn... the many colored fall in rays of golden light. Wonder like oak leaves in Autumn falls every morning in the sunlight. Life is worth wondering about because life wants creation. Wonder what that's all about? This website is a conversation of a poet with his Nation every morning. One of the most interesting aspects of it is that despite its prolific availability and publication, everyday for two years on most major social media networks, not a single American has clicked on it because the author didn't cater to algorithms. > "Perhaps it's a lack of interest." > \-The First Thought From a Sane Reader But after a post with the headline: [The American Press is No Longer Free: Here's Two Years of Daily Proof](https://www.wonderfell.org/the-american-press-is-no-longer-free/), received zero clicks from anyone in The United States; interest isn't the issue, access is. Social systems that are not based on Our Constitution are being used to run our media. They're commonly called social media algorithms and demographics. Unless our demographics are one free citizen at a time they're Un-American. Classification algorithms cannot work to define America because this Country is about free people and not certain groups of free people. One free person at a time or it's not America. Not The Republicans, The Democrats, The Rich, The Illegals, The Blacks, The Whites, The Conservatives, The Liberals... The American. Please for the sake of us all take a moment and realize machines are controlling what you can and can't see on your phones, realize a machine is not a free citizen, and understand the real threat to America right now. You're not mad at a specific class of people America; your phone is. One free citizen at a time or it's not America. And so this poet harps on in this unignorable way of writing to a free people easily ignored because of the science-fiction turned reality controlling our media. It doesn't matter that The Press Corps is made of free people. If they require permission from a monarch or a machine to be read, what they share is not free. Again: Can you read me yet? Are we free again, yet? O/ Send a circle-slash comment. Wonder Fell is free because right now, America isn't. What's the sense of sharing new ideas and stories with people if a writer has to get clearance from a protocol droid in order to be read? It's funny, but that's all AI is: C-3PO, a Protocol Droid. The rules of syntax and grammar are organic and alive; they update in the present tense. We don't have language yet to humanely live with the new available technology. I'm doing my best. This is one of the jobs of poets: To purposefully update our language to best serve our time. I see America falling apart and recognize the reason and realize we don't have the language to adequately talk about it to remedy it. That new language is here on Wonder Fell. Also the need to make [a distinction between Media and Press](https://www.wonderfell.org/the-only-problem-with-america-right-now/) is dire to save the freedom of our News distribution. The metaphors may seem outlandish at times, but this is new ground and so needs new language to discuss it properly. And so I write. Congratulations for reading.
