O/ Beauty, did we forget it? While most of humanity is transfixed by a library shelving service turned into a video game of language distribution called AI, this poet sits and records every sunrise every morning so we remember: There's more to Life than adding it up; there's the joy of adding it up. The Joy is my business. O/ Thanks for joining me. Dictionaries and AI don't make language. A phone or computer screen can't use a word anymore than any book can. What we get from Artificial Intelligence is not words. We get common Internet labels for each word. Language is alive; definitions grow. But even more than how a dictionary defines a word, there's what a word actually is and does. Words are ambassadors for humanity. Words are not facts; words make facts possible. Every time we speak or write our intention gets delivered with the common understanding of the definition, too. Words are ambassadors of who we are. They are the record of the exact moment they are uttered or wrote of the speaker or writer. *We live in the words we share;* *Our ghost is always there.* O/ Who's waving to you? Me, your friendly Poet for the People, Wynn. O/ Boo! Picking up my ghost? You have to. It's how reading works. Thought we could all use a reminder. It's why I haven't sought traditional publication. The way online is setup at the time of writing this makes it very difficult to get my ghost to you. The whole purpose of reading and writing is to share this ghost quality with one another. Filtering our words through algorithmic measures sterilizes them somehow. A group of intelligent programmers decides if my words are important enough to reach you through a code language they developed. We're talking about what's historically called: Spirit. More than inflection, tone, and lyricism; something more is here. Emerson, Whitman, or Angelou may have wrote a similar defense of langauge at this time if they were alive. But publication and popularity don't make poetry, what's in the writer's words and their word's relationships does. This past month, just about every morning, I shared the reality that America's dependence on algorithmic Media distribution has us surrendering our freedom of Press everyday. Wonder Fell is two years plus of daily proof of that reality. Now, the reality was true two years ago, but would you have believed it? Two years. Every. Single. Day. Not a single reply, comment, share, thumbs up, clap, heart, or troll on every major algorithmic based social media platform from an American, with headlines like: The Press in America is No Longer Free. Because I didn't get a corporation algorithm's permission to share my Press with you. Not having living breathing free citizens in charge of Press distribution is an Unconstitutional act. I'm glad you finally found me. Let's spread the word ourselves and get back our Press freedom and Make America American Again.
