Good morning, Twfw. O/

Some days we wake under a bedsheet of clouds. Sunrise shows and lights up the fortress dome from above... like today.

Sometimes solitude is what's missing. Time alone is a gift to a grateful imagination.

Yesterday's sunrise brought a kind of [call to action](https://www.wonderfell.org/news-is-for-people-not-data-centers/). A poet's cry in internet dark.

The house is burning down, the sky is falling on our freedom of speech and press.

Because of the nature of my work I see it sooner than most would. Language creation is my job's focus and concern.

Our freedoms of speech and press slowly ebb away everyday.

News is information from one concerned person to another about a current event.

Using a machine built by a corporation to decide what information we can see and when is not what The American Press is for.

The American Press is a means for concerned citizens to let other citizens know what's happening so we build a well-informed society based on our common concerns.

### The Rise of Talk About *\-isms* Isn't Conspiracy Theory Rhetoric

Classification algorithms group information distribution into class systems. It's literally what an algorithm is for. Pertinent Public Information being distributed based on a system of rules and regulations from machines is the behavior Our Freedom of Press is created to defend against.

Using a company's algorithm metrics to be in charge of relevant public data is like electing a foreigner to be The President. The code has no vested interest in the information being shared, and so all concerns of the well-being of community are not taken into account.

Chances are if your neighbor feels something happening in the neighborhood is important enough to share with you: It is.

That's the basis of what Press Freedom is all about. We help each other out by keeping each other informed.

Now, if your neighbor had to get clearance from a corporation before they could talk to you... that would be ridiculous.

And exactly what's happening right now.

Can you read me yet? O/

I've been purposefully not getting algorithmic clearance for a couple of years to showcase the issue.

The work and worth of American Letters are not for machines to decide, but people.

Free people.

Are we free yet? Can you read me now?

If so, let someone know. Sharing is a great way to cater to algorithmic compliance and raise distribution rates.

### A Democratic Algorithm is an Oxymoron

Communism, Fascism, Socialism, none and all of the above; are correct depending on the algorithm at the gate charged with filtering and classifying your information.

In a free country people decide what's worth talking about not machines. Regardless if a machine belongs to a corporation, a monarch, or a dictator; it's never free.

An outside authority removed from the actual living experience of day-to-day life is exactly the force America is built to defend against.

So, do we still work America?

Is individual liberty still worth it? Or does a King or a Corporate Machine know what's better for your life than you?

I stand with and for good people. Life presented me a unique opportunity to help us all. My hope is that we still value freedom enough to recognize the worth of these words, my act for the sake of Liberty.

We all must do our part.

Congratulations, again, for reading.

Let a free human know you can.

Your Friendly Nation-hood Graceful Ghost,
